Crystal Palace could bid for wonderkid who is “something special” after signing Ismaila Sarr
With Ismaila Sarr on his way into the club, now Crystal Palace are targeting an 18-year-old wonderkid with huge potential.
Crystal Palace’s transfer window is now beginning to take shape, with the first two arrivals of Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada now about to be added to.
The third arrival of Ismaila Sarr is all but confirmed, with his medical supposedly already taken place, as he now seeks his visa before the deal can be made official.
But with funds in the bank from selling Michael Olise, this is unlikely to be the end of the arrivals.
Now, the Eagles have been linked with signing a player who has incredible potential.
Crystal Palace could submit bid for Bazoumana Toure
With the arrival of Sarr replacing Olise, Palace look set to go one step further and add one for the future as well this summer.
According to a report from Swedish outlet Expressen, the Eagles are one of three clubs targeting a move for Bazoumana Toure.
There is already great interest in the 18-year-old talent, with Palace joined by Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and a handful of Belgian sides too.
Toure is on the radar of all these clubs and for the three named, an offer could soon be on the cards, despite his current club Hammarby not wanting to sell him this summer.
Because of this, perhaps we’ll see Palace loan Toure back to Sweden until the end of the Allsvenskan season at least.
What Swedish press make of Toure
Toure is just 18 and fairly new to Sweden’s footballing scene, having joined from ASEC Mimosas for just £374k in March.
Already he looks like an absolute bargain and the media in Sweden are full of praise for him thus far after three goals and two assists in his first nine games.
Outlet Fotbollskanalen praised Toure for his ability after he’d scored a goal, writing: “Hammerby’s Touré is something special”.
Bollsvenskan also couldn’t help but praise the young winger: “Toure’s underlying numbers show a player who in a short time established himself as a dangerous weapon in Hammarby’s playing system. When we compare him with the average of all Allsvenskan wingers and outside midfielders, a very clear picture emerges of an offensively involved, efficient and skilled player.”
