Transfer portal: Ohio State lands No. 1 RB Quinshon Judkins to headline recent commitments
More top college football transfer portal prospects are off the board.
The college football season is complete, but the transfer portal continues to churn with more top prospects announcing their commitment decisions. As Michigan claimed the national championship on Monday night, the top-ranked transfer running back Quinshon Judkins made his pledge to Ohio State. The former Ole Miss standout shocked many when he entered the portal not long after the Peach Bowl, but now joins the Buckeyes ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Penn State picked up the No. 2 transfer cornerback in A.J. Harris. The former five-star freshman from Georgia gives the Nittany Lions another young talent on defense. The same can be said about Wisconsin, which landed the No. 2 linebacker in Tackett Curtis from USC.
The list of best-available transfers is starting to dwindle with only a handful of the top-100 players in the portal still undecided. However, with the gravitating announcement of Nick Saban’s retirement at Alabama on Wednesday, there could potentially be late moves made with the transfer portal now open for a 30-day window for Crimson Tide players.
