Flyers Sign Esteemed NCAA Prospect to AHL Tryout

The Philadelphia Flyers are continuing to stock their cupboard full of high-upside talent.

This time, their latest addition comes by way of an AHL tryout with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

NCAA free agent Matt Miller, formerly of the University of Nebraska-Omaha, has joined the Flyers organization on a professional tryout, per the AHL transactions page.

Miller, 24, spent four seasons with Nebraska-Omaha, scoring 38 goals, 33 assists, and 71 points in 127 NCAA games. Miller’s production in the NCAA was almost identical to his production in the USHL, where he scored 33 goals, 37 assists, and 70 points in 180 games.
