Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown Drops Truth on Status of Wrist Injury
The Boston Celtics have become the first team in the NBA to win 60 games this season after conquering the Oklahoma City Thunder. The thing is, All-Star guard Jaylen Brown’s health may not be at 100 percent, especially when it comes to his left hand.
Just recently, the Celtics showed everyone why they’re the best team in league right now by getting the 135-100 win over the Thunder. Kristaps Porzingis had a stellar showing that night by dropping 27 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks. Jayson Tatum had 24 points and seven rebounds, while Brown added 24 points of his own.
The win elevated Boston to the top of the league as their record improved to 60-16. The Thunder, on the other hand, dropped to third place in the Western Conference with 52 wins and 24 losses. Ahead of them are the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets in a tie for the first seed in the West.
Boston Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Shares Status of His Injured Wrist
After the game, Brown spoke to reporters and gave them an update about his left hand. The Celtics star can be seen airing his side in a video posted by Noa Dalzell on X:
Over the course of 66 games this season, Brown has posted averages of 23.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest. He’s also connecting 50 percent of his shots from the field, 35 percent from beyond the arc, and 70 percent from the free throw line.
for an extended period of time, or even his All-Star form, might prove to be detrimental for Boston’s championship aspirations. Hopefully, the Celtics star can regain the full use of his left hand again to give his team the best chance to win it all in the postseason.
