Thunder Game Day: Oklahoma City Thunder take on Short Handed Bucks
The Oklahoma City Thunder are fully rested and ready to roll against the short-handed Bucks in game 81 of the season.
As the 2023-24 regular season winds down, the Milwaukee Bucks will use game 81 of the season to get some rest for their stars. The Oklahoma City Thunder on the other hand will enjoy a healthy complement of stars at home.
KEYS TO THE GAME:
The Oklahoma City Thunder are riding a three-game winning streak which featured outlasting a scrappy Hornets team, a 20-point comeback victory and a professional approach against a tanking Spurs squad.
The Thunder will need to take that same attitude into the game against the Bucks who will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo with Damian Lillard listed as doubtful, Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portisare all tabbed as questionable.
Oklahoma City turns in a clean injury report the lone players showing up are the G League Finals participants.
The Thunder will need to be locked in defensively and squeeze out a short-handed Bucks attack. Oklahoma City is one of the best teams at home this season (31-8) and should take care of business in the Paycom center again.
With the lengthy injury report of the Milwaukee Bucks, the Oklahoma City Thunder have to carry over the same attitude they had against the short-handed Spurs on Wednesday. A fast start should put the game away for the Bricktown boys and allow them to cruise to win no. 56.
Up next, the Oklahoma City Thunder wrap up their regular season against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday inside the Paycom Center. With the Mavericks seed and matchup locked into place, their injury report should look something similar to the Bucks.
