Expert paints a not-so-rosy outlook for the Chicago Bulls this season

Things might not end well for the Bulls this season.

The vibes inside the Chicago Bulls’ locker may be well and good, as the team has won four straight games to improve to 9-14. However, an expert believes this season will not end well for the Bulls and predicts they’ll finish with a subpar 28-54 record.

The teardown may finally happen

The Bulls’ faithful may frown at this prognosis, but the silver lining to this — if it does come to fruition — is that the long-awaited teardown of this underachieving roster may finally come to fruition. However, the operative term here is “may,” as history shows the team’s chief basketball executive, Arturas Karnisovas, to be patient in his decision-making, which means a shake-up may not come at all.

“Chicago Bulls fans should take solace in a sub-30-win projection. It suggests that executive vice president Arturas Karnisovas will finally burn down what should have been set aflame years ago,” Dan Favale wrote for Bleacher Report.

“On the other hand, perhaps I’m giving The Windy City’s front office too much credit. We have years of evidence proving Chicago will do everything in its power to remain aggressively sub-mediocre,” Favale continued.
