BREAKING: Justin Jefferson’s Devastating Injury Status Revealed

Minnesota Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson returned for the first time today since missing a good chunk of the season due to a hamstring injury. He debuted against the Las Vegas Raiders today and came down with a couple of catches. However, on his second catch of the game, he was hit hard from the back by a Raiders defender, causing him to come out of the game with an injury and go to the locker room.

The receiver is officially questionable to return to action with a chest injury. This is not good news for anyone, especially Vikings fans who were excited about his return to the field today. Jefferson grimaced in pain after the hit and was able to walk to the sideline under his power, and was taken into the blue medical tent. Shortly after, he was taken to the locker room with training staff for further medical attention.

Minnesota has been in dire need of a true number one receiver since quarterback Joshua Dobbs took over for the injured Kirk Cousins and this was the first game for the team to capitalize on the opportunity. Now, Jefferson is once again injured, and it does not look like he will be returning for the remainder of this game.

In just five and a quarter games this season, Jefferson has amounted to 571 receiving yards with three touchdowns. He was on pace to record yet another 1,000-yard-plus season before going down with his injury at the beginning of October. Now, it will be very difficult for the receiver to achieve that goal once again as he has suffered yet another injury.

Minnesota is currently 6-6 and in second place in the NFC North. They are currently tied up with Las Vegas at halftime with no scores put up by either team. As for Jefferson, we are still waiting to hear if he will be able to return to this game. This is an ongoing situation and will be updated as the game goes on.
