Dolphins Consider Signing Former All-Pro Player in Critical Week 16
Miami Dolphins in Talks with Former Super Bowl Champion
After another dominant win over the helpless New York Jets, Miami is proving why they are the clear champion of the AFC East but there are always ways to improve the roster. On Wednesday afternoon, it was announced that Miami was in discussions with former All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
Suh was a generational talent in the trenches and would give Miami and elite pass rusher between the tackles. While he spent last season with the NFL Super Bowl representative Philadelphia Eagles, Suh spent the best years of his long career with the Detroit Lions and with Miami. Suh was drafted with the third pick of the NFL Draft with Detroit in 2010 and was an All-Pro all the way through 2016. Suh was with Miami from 2015 to 2017 in that span.
Reports have stated that there is no definitive contract on the table yet but based on Suh’s clear late career objectives of winning another super bowl, Miami would be a perfect fit for the elite 3-technique defensive tackle. Miami has established arguably the best secondary in the NFL but their defensive line could use some help.
