Yankees Insider Breaks Down Newest Addition
The New York Yankees remain one of the most discussed teams this offseason.
Everyone wants to see what moves the Yankees make to improve their team each year.
So far this offseason they have made two significant trades.
The first was acquiring Alex Verdugo from the Boston Red Sox.
But that move got overshadowed by the addition of Juan Soto.
The Yankees pulled off a blockbuster trade to land Soto from the San Diego Padres.
It was a splash move many Yankees fans were hoping their team would make.
Yet, the Yankees lost a lot of depth in those trades.
To try and fill the holes on their roster the Yankees brought in another relief pitcher.
According to Bryan Hoch, the Yankees have added RHP Cody Morris.
Last season, he pitched six games for the Cleveland Guardians to an ERA of 6.75.
This is not a move that is going to excite anyone.
But, you never know the impact Morris could have in the Yankees bullpen.
The Yankees still have plenty of money they can spend this offseason.
