Former Ohio State quarterback reportedly hired to be Wisconsin’s wide receivers coach

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton is headed for a reunion with his old coach, according to multiple reports.

Guiton, who spent the last three years at Arkansas, is headed for Wisconsin to be the team’s wide receivers coach. He’ll join a coaching staff led by a former Buckeye in Luke Fickell, who was on the staff as an assistant coach for all of Guiton’s career at Ohio State (2009-2013). Fickell was also Guiton’s head coach in 2011.

Guiton is replacing Mike Brown, who left his post to become Notre Dame’s wide receivers coach.

The former Ohio State quarterback has spent his coaching career with Houston, Louisiana Tech, Colorado State and Arkansas. Most recently, he was the interim offensive coordinator for the Razorbacks in 2023.

Guiton was wildly popular for his Ohio State career, and went 89 for 134 passing with 893 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.
