The Cleveland Browns may have been eliminated in the Wild Card round, but there’s nothing to be ashamed of considering what they went through during the 2023 NFL season.

The Browns suffered brutal injuries to multiple key players, including Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb.

However, head coach Kevin Stefanski was able to lead Cleveland back to the postseason while shuffling through quarterbacks and skill-position players.

Looking at the roster, the Browns are set up to compete in 2024 and that bodes well for GM Andrew Berry and Stefanski.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Berry and Stefanski are expected to get contract extensions at some point during the offseason.

#Browns GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski are both expected to receive contract extensions at some point this offseason,” Fowler reported, per MoreForYouCleveland.

Smart organizations can recognize when they have good personnel and it makes sense why Cleveland would want to keep Berry and Stefanski together.

The duo turned the Browns into a perennial playoff contender and could make more noise next season assuming they’re afforded good health.

While the roster has core pieces in place already, free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft will be important for Cleveland to supplement the team with talent and depth.

Berry and Stefanski have a lot of work to do to get the organization over the hump, but so far the results have been positive and fans are surely hoping that the upward trajectory continues.
