The 3 Stoke City players who may not play for the club again

Stoke City are currently embroiled in a relegation battle in the Championship.

Stoke City have slipped into the bottom three after their 2-1 loss away at Cardiff City last time out.

The Potters risk dropping into the third tier unless they can turn their fortunes around under Steven Schumacher.

Here is a look at three players who may have already played their last game for the club…

Blondy Nna Noukeu

The 22-year-old goalkeeper has never made a first-team appearance for Stoke. He is out of contract at the end of this season and is due to become a free agent as things stand.

It seems likely that he will be allowed to move on this summer for a new challenge elsewhere. Crawley Town and Southend United have had him on loan over recent times.

Frank Fielding

Fielding, like Nna Noukeu, hasn’t played for the Potters. The experienced 35-year-old provides useful competition and depth to their goalkeeping department but his chances of game time between now and the end of this term are very slim.

The stopper has had spells in the past at Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Millwall and had a temporary stint away from the Bet365 Stadium at Salford City a couple of years ago. He has played over 350 games in his career to date.

Tom Edwards

He has been on the books at Stoke for his whole career to date and has made 51 appearances for them in all competitions. However, he is currently out on loan at fellow Championship club Huddersfield Town and has been since being allowed to depart again last July.

The right-back, who is 25-years-old, has also had spells away from Staffordshire at Fleetwood Town, New York Red Bulls and Barnsley to get experience.
