Hull’s overseas trip will help them prepare for the end of season run-in as they look to get into the top six. They face Stoke City at home and Leeds United away in their next couple of games.

Philogene, 21, has been a key player for the Tigers since his switch from Aston Villa last summer. He has made 23 appearances in all competitions in this campaign and has chipped in with eight goals.

The winger played six games during his time at Villa Park and also had loan spells away at Stoke City and Cardiff City in the second tier to boost his development.

As for Morton, he has impressed for Liam Rosenior’s side in the middle of the park and looks to have a bright future ahead of him in the game.

He is on loan at the MKM Stadium from Liverpool after spending last term at Blackburn Rovers. The Merseyside-born man has played 32 games for the East Yorkshire outfit to date and has found the net on three occasions.

Hull drew 2-2 at home to table toppers Leicester City last time out after goals by winter recruits Fabio Carvalho and Anass Zaroury. They have drawn their last four matches on the spin.

The Tigers are proving to be a tough team to beat though which is promising. They have lost just once in their last 10 league outings.
