Deion Sanders Sends Message To The Cowboys About Notable Defender
The Dallas Cowboys had a potential future Hall of Famer in their ranks, but they might not want him anymore.
CB Stephon Gilmore was one of many players who struggled in their season-ending heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers, and they have shown little to no interest in bringing him back.
That’s why former Cowboys star Deion Sanders took to social media to advocate for him, telling Jerry Jones to stop playing around and sign him already (via Brandon Loree).
Truth be told, the Cowboys could do a lot worse than him.
While he’s not the lockdown cornerback he used to be at this point in his career, he wasn’t used to the best of his abilities either.
He’s still a more than capable player with great instincts, and he’s already proven himself in this league.
On top of that, it’s not like the Cowboys have made any big moves to replace him — if at all.
Jerry Jones vowed that the team would go all-in in the offseason, but that hasn’t been the case thus far.
If anything, there are even rumors that the team could let QB Dak Prescott walk once his current deal expires.
That doesn’t sound like a team that’s going all-in, and they might not be much better than they were last season.
