Analyst Believes Jets Should Draft Top TE Prospect
The New York Jets have done everything they can to build their roster around Aaron Rodgers.
The team made a massive investment in him ahead of the 2023 season, and since he didn’t pan out last year, they’re going all-in again.
Many moves have been made to this point in the offseason to add more talent to the roster as a whole, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
While these additions have been viewed favorably, Craig Carton recently outlined a plan for the Jets to acquire yet another piece for their offense.
“The guy who I think they’re gonna take is Bowers from Georgia,” Carton said.
Brock Bowers has been highly regarded throughout his collegiate career, and many believe he is one of the best tight end prospects in recent history.
Kyle Pitts made history in 2021 by being the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history, and while Bowers might not necessarily get taken that high, his prospect profile is similar.
Teams across the league seem to believe he can make a monumental impact on an offense, which, for a team like the Jets, could be the difference between them making the playoffs and falling short.
The team already has a phenom in Garrett Wilson, who has proven himself as a young player.
