Former Kansas State Guard Cam Carter Announces Commitment To LSU
Former Kansas State guard Cam Carter announced his commitment to LSU on Friday. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard entered the transfer portal on March 21 after two seasons with the Wildcats.
Carter started all 70 games over his two seasons at Kansas State. He averaged 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for the Wildcats.
He averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game this season.
Carter transferred to Kansas State after his freshman season at Mississippi State. He played in 27 games and averaged 8.4 points per game for the Bulldogs.
Carter signed with Mississippi State as a four-star prospect out of Oak Hill Academy. He will return to his home state next season, where he earned first-team All-District and All-Parish honors in 2019-20.
