PWHL Montreal extends contracts for Boulier, Keopple, Chuli
The Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Montreal franchise announced Monday it has signed contract extensions with defenders Amanda Boulier (two years) and Mariah Keopple (one season) and goaltender Elaine Chuli (one season).
All three signed standard contracts.
The first player acquired via a trade by Montreal, Boulier had three assists in six games with her new club. She also took part in all three playoff games.
The 31-year-old defender started the season in Ottawa, where she recorded one goal and five assists in 17 games. Boulier, from Watertown, Conn., was selected in the 13th round (77th overall) by Ottawa in the PWHL’s inaugural draft in 2023.
Passed over in the draft then invited to Montreal’s training camp last fall, Keopple, 23, played in all of the team’s 24 games in 2024, collecting three assists.
Chuli, 30, helped her team win six of the eight games she started, maintaining a 1.61 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage.
PWHL teams have an exclusive negotiation window until June 21 to offer contract extensions to their players already under contract. As stipulated by the players’ association, the salary terms of the agreements will not be disclosed.
