California 4-Star LB Kenneth Goodwin ‘very high’ on Alabama

Kenneth Goodwin continues to have a high level of interest in Alabama after picking up an offer from the Crimson Tide in April.

Goodwin is set to play his junior season at Narbonne High School in California. He currently holds 24 college football offers, including offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and others. The Crimson Tide are currently one of the four-star’s top options.

“They are very high, like top two,” Goodwin told Touchdown Alabama.

Alabama’s coaching staff is remaining in constant contact with Goodwin.

“It’s great,” Goodwin said. “They makes sure to text me every week, coach Womack as well. They make sure they keep in contact.”

Goodwin has previously stated he grew up a fan of the Tide which made his offer a couple of months ago a special one.

“It means everything,” Goodwin said after earning an offer from Alabama. “I grew up an Alabama fan, so this is the biggest offer for me.”

The rising junior has a feel for the point of time he wants to be committed by.

“By the end of my junior year, so I could focus on my senior year of football, no college stuff, just football,” Goodwin said.

At 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, Goodwin has experience rushing from the edge and playing off the ball at linebacker. He also can play sideline to sideline with great backside pursuit and apparent high motor. The Nevada product feels his ability to get after the football when ‘blitzing’ is among his biggest strengths.
