It’s official: Suns announce trade for Royce O’Neale, David Roddy

The Suns announced the deal on Thursday afternoon, making it official.

The Phoenix Suns acquired forward Royce O’Neale from the Brooklyn Nets and forward David Roddy from the Memphis Grizzlies in the three-team trade. As part of the deal, the Suns sent forward Keita Bates-Diop, guard Jordan Goodwin and three future second-round picks to the Nets, and forward/center Chimezie Metu, forward Yuta Watanabe and a 2026 first-round pick swap to the Grizzlies.
