Crystal Palace ‘monitoring’ Chelsea star as Man Utd ‘prepare’ £34m bid for midfielder
The Premier League season is just days away with the action kicking off this weekend. The long wait is almost over, and the London clubs will be raring to go after a busy summer of business across the capital. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all racked up big spending bills to varying degrees, but that is not all.
West Ham have been very bold in their transfer approach this summer, while Brentford and Fulham have also wrapped up big deals. Here we round up all the latest transfer news surrounding the Premier League clubs.
Palace ‘eye’ Chelsea man
Crystal Palace are said to be interested in Chelsea fringe star Carney Chukwuemeka this summer, according to reports. According to the South London Press, Palace are monitoring the midfielder’s situation amid a possible exit this summer.
The midfielder who was signed for £20million from Aston Villa was not part of Chelsea’s plans last season and it’s unclear whether he will feature in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the coming campaign.
Danilo links
Manchester United are said to have enquired about Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo. TNT Sports Brazil have reported that both United and AC Milan have expressed an interest in Danilo, who is could be available for around £34million, according to the report.
Danilo made 29 league appearances for Forest last season and has reportedly been identified as an option for United as they look to add a much-needed body to their midfield.
Muci swap deal on the cards
Aston Villa are said to be considering a deal for Besiktas star Ernest Muci as they gear up for Champions League football this season. Aslinda via SportWitness report that Villa could move to sign Muci and use full-back Lucas Digne as part of the deal.
Muci is not said to be part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s plans for the near future, according to the report, and so Villa may well be able to wrap up a deal. The Albanian international is an attacking midfielder who is also able to play as a football. He has only been with the Turkish giants since the winter window.
