Roster Moves: Jaguars Elevate Tanner Muse to the Active Roster for Week 6
JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have elevated LB Tanner Muse to the active roster from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game via standard elevation, the team announced today.
Muse was drafted by Las Vegas in the third round (100th overall) of the 2020 Draft. After his rookie season with the Raiders (2020), Muse played in 33 games across three seasons with Seattle (2021-22) while on the team’s practice squad and the Los Angeles Chargers’ active roster (2023). Muse joined the Jaguars in 2024 as an unrestricted free agent, signing with the team’s practice squad in August. Prior to the NFL, the Belmont, N.C., native played four seasons at Clemson. In 59 career games, he recorded 237 tackles (10.5 for loss), 15 passes defensed, 4.0 sacks, seven interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery that was returned for a 63-yard touchdown. Muse was a standard elevation for Week 4’s game at Houston and Week 5’s game vs. Indianapolis, seeing action on special teams.
