Atlanta Braves connected to anticipated $8 million power hitter available for trade
The Atlanta Braves will be looking to make additions this winter.
Atlanta didn’t have a strong postseason this year, largely due to many injuries throughout the season. Now, the Braves need to find ways to strengthen their lineup.
Who might they add? Anything is possible at this stage. Free agency is coming up soon, and the trade market will get busy as well. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Braves get heavily involved.
One potential trade target is Taylor Ward, a slugger from the Los Angeles Angels, according to MLB Trade Rumors’ Anthony Franco.
“Whether they embrace a short-term reset or look to balance the (Major League Baseball) roster without dealing from one of the league’s worst farm systems, there’s a case for moving Taylor Ward,” Franco said.
The 30-year-old left fielder has been the subject of trade speculation dating back to last offseason…”
“(The Pittsburgh Pirates) and (Kansas City Royals) could renew their interest… The (Cincinnati Reds), (Philadelphia Phillies), Braves, (Toronto Blue Jays), and (San Diego Padres) are other teams that could look for corner outfield help this winter.”
