Cowboys surprisingly predicted to trade for $3.6 million Bears running back

The Dallas Cowboys are looking to capitalize on another team having one too many talented running backs.

That team happens to be the Chicago Bears, who have recently phased out Khalil Herbert from their offense in favor of using a one-two punch of D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson.

Chicago’s new game plan without Herbert has yielded wins, but that doesn’t mean Herbert can’t easily benefit another football team this season.

ESPN’s Bill Barnwell recently predicted that the Cowboys will trade for Herbert before the November 5 deadline. Barnwell thinks the Bears would accept a 2025 sixth-round pick from Dallas in exchange for Herbert.
