Bournemouth ‘very interested’ in signing Barcelona’s Pablo Torre on loan
Premier League side Bournemouth have reportedly asked Barcelona about the possibility of taking Pablo Torre on loan for the rest of the season.
According to Diario Sport, the Cherries are “very interested” in landing Torre and want the deal to include a purchase option.
Andoni Iraola’s side are enjoying a good season in the English top flight and are arguably one of the most attractive teams to watch right now.
Bournemouth also have a pretty healthy relationship with Barca as the two sides recently did business with Julian Araujo leaving Catalunya for the Premier League club.
The only problem seems to be that Torre doesn’t really want to move right now and Hansi Flick is happy for him to stay as well.
Torre hasn’t been used too much this season by Barcelona but has made an impact when he has come on and has scored four goals this season.
A decision on his long-term future may also need to be made come the summer, as Torre’s contract expires in 2026 and there’s been no talk of an extension yet.
